Two new videos are now available... And there is an interview of Thabo :
Since a month and a half, the events move on and he's even now applicant for a selection in the All-Star Game of the rookies. Let's back to six weeks full of emotions.
Q: Thabo Sefolosha, how are you doing in this new environment?
- Everything is ok! I'm living something unbelievable and even if all goes very quickly, I try to enjoy it at maximum. Since the draft day, I don't notice everything but I appreciate everyday in these surroundings.
Q: Compared to your experience in France and in Italy, what are the differences?
- Players are very physical and the game goes really fast, the accomodation is not easy. For now, I do a lot of body building to compensate for the deficiency. I must also continue my work on the shots but as it's just my first year, I have still the time and I don't worry about it.
Q: Is that status of the first Swiss basketball player in the NBA hard to handle?
- The US championship internationalized itself so I don't really notice the difference. Jim Boylan, the assistant coach, has lived in Vevey, maybe it's something special for him to see me in the team.
Q: In the team, how have you been welcomed?
- Well, very well! People are really nice and the accomodation was pretty easy. I'm often with Luol Deng who comes from London, but with an 82 games season, there is not much free time.
Q: Turn back to your beginnings in Miami. Eleven points, 100% at the shots...
- I don't know what happened that night... (laughing) The shots took in, it was really a good evening, but I prefer to relativize because nevertheless I didn't scored 50 points. But I keep an excellent memory of this game.
Q: How do you see the remainder of your season?
- Besides learning a maximum through the contact of other players, I don't fixed any particular goals. I'm not in a hurry and I know that my integration is going to be progressive. If I continue to play 10 or 15 minutes a game it's already a good thing.
