My summer in Switzerland

Hello everybody !
Being on the move with the Swiss National team, I’m taking a short break to keep you up to date about me.
Everything goes very fast for me this summer. After a break during the month of June in Switzerland, I came back to USA beginning of July to play the Summer Leagues. We went down to Florida, in Orlando precisely, to play 5 games between July 9th and 13th. Tyrus and I realized some good performances at all. It was a good opportunity to meet as well the new rookies as Joakim Noah, I get along well with him and it’s cool to have someone who speaks French in the team now. We went then to Salt Lake City to play 4 games between July 16th and 20th. I didn’t unfortunately play at 100% due to a knee’s injury and the beginning of my basketball camp in Switzerland.
I came back on the 19th to take part of the first edition of my basketball camp which was a great satisfaction for me. It was a real pleasure to have the chance to play and share, with people coming from different places, the same passion. So that, I’m motivated to renew the experience next year!
Beside the basketball camp, we were getting ready with the national team to meet France. So the 1st week of my camp was a succession of roundtrip between Blonay and Thonon. We lost unfortunately against France but it was a rich experience for the team and I am really happy to see so much support for a basketball game in Switzerland.
Ron Adams, one of the 4 Bulls assistant-coach, came during the 2nd week of my basketball camp to follow up my personal training. It was cool to see him and I’m happy that I had the opportunity to work out with him. He also attended to the Gala game we did on August 3rd at the Galeries du Rivage where I began basketball… The atmosphere was very good and I would like to thank you for your presence.
I took few days-off after my basketball camp to go to Paris with my family and relax a little bit. Then, the Swiss team training began to get ready for our qualification games. We won last week against Ireland and last Saturday against Cyprus in Zürich. We have to win against Romania now on Wednesday. So come all to support us in Zürich !
I’m planning to come back to Chicago in the mid-September to meet the team and get ready for my second NBA season. I’m so excited to begin this new season and to have the opportunity to put in practice what I learnt during my rookie year.
I’m really happy to have so much support from you and to know that Swiss basketball is doing good… I would like to thank you about your support. Stay tuned on my official website, I’ll keep you up to date shortly.
See ya…
