Sticking to his deadline, Commissioner David Stern wiped out the first two weeks of the season. This decision came on Monday after negotiations to produce a new labor deal failed.
Couple days after this annoucement, Thabo Sefolosha decided to sign a deal with Fenerbahçe Ülker. Thabo's goal is still the same, working hard to become a better player. For this reason, he believes playing with a competitive club like Fenerbahçe Ülker will help him be a better player and be ready for the start of the 2011-12 NBA Regular Season.
Sefolosha says in a statement that he will fly to Istanbul on Thursday after signing the deal on Tuesday. It includes an exit clause that allows him return to the United States if the NBA lockout ends.
