Switzerland were condamned to lose this game with a very low shooting pourcentage (26% - 15 of 58) from the field. Thabo Sefolosha fouled out with 1:02 to play, he scored 21pts and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Great Britain will play in the second leg of their promotion playoff game on Saturday at 2.15 GMT in Geneva.
